Currently, there is no definitive guideline specifying whether carbazochrome tablets should be taken before or after meals. Generally, taking the medication either before or after meals does not affect its efficacy, so patients need not worry excessively. However, it is worth noting that taking carbazochrome after meals may reduce irritation to the gastric mucosa and help prevent gastrointestinal side effects such as abdominal pain and bloating. If a patient has normal gastrointestinal function, the drug can be taken either before or after meals. However, for those with chronic gastritis, gastric ulcers, or similar conditions, it is advisable to take carbazochrome after meals to avoid discomfort.

When taking carbazochrome, avoid concomitant use of antihistamines or anticholinergics, such as cetirizine hydrochloride tablets or loratadine hydrochloride tablets. These medications have vasodilatory effects, which may interfere with the hemostatic effectiveness of carbazochrome.
