Is it good for your health to exercise both in the morning and evening?
Whether exercising in the morning and evening is beneficial to health depends on the intensity of the exercise. If the intensity is moderate, it is generally good; however, if the intensity is too high, it is usually not recommended.

If a person engages in morning and evening activities such as walking or yoga—moderate aerobic exercises—it is generally beneficial for health. These activities can enhance cardiopulmonary function, promote fat metabolism, increase muscle strength, and boost the body's immune system. Additionally, they can help improve glucose metabolism to some extent, reducing the risk of diabetes and cardiovascular or cerebrovascular diseases, thus supporting overall health.
However, if the morning and evening exercises involve high-intensity anaerobic activities such as sprinting or playing basketball, especially when performed for prolonged durations, the excessive exercise intensity is typically not ideal for health. This is because intense physical exertion can easily lead to fatigue, muscle soreness, or even muscle strains, potentially having adverse effects on overall well-being.
When exercising in the morning and evening, it is advisable to perform proper warm-up exercises beforehand and follow up with stretching and massage afterward to prevent muscle soreness and injuries such as strains.
