Introduction
Generally, certain foods and medications are beneficial for vitreous opacity. Helpful foods include iodine-rich items such as laver and kelp, vitamin-rich foods like spinach, lettuce, and black sesame seeds, and DHA-containing foods such as hairtail fish and tuna. Medications include antibiotics such as amoxicillin capsules and ampicillin capsules, antifungal agents such as terbinafine tablets and nystatin tablets, and iodine preparations such as complex iodine lecithin tablets.

Generally, consuming foods containing iodine, vitamins, or DHA, as well as medications such as antibiotics, antifungal drugs, and iodine preparations, may be beneficial for vitreous opacity.

I. Foods

1. Iodine-rich foods: Vitreous opacity is commonly an age-related ophthalmic condition. Patients can regularly consume iodine-rich foods such as seaweed and kelp, which may help promote vitreous metabolism and improve vitreous cloudiness.

2. Vitamin-rich foods: Patients with vitreous opacity can also eat vitamin-rich foods such as spinach and lettuce, which are rich in lutein and may help relieve eye fatigue and protect against ultraviolet radiation. Additionally, consuming more foods rich in carotene, vitamin A, and other vitamins—such as black sesame seeds and carrots—can help protect vision.

3. DHA-rich foods: Patients may also consume foods high in DHA, such as hairtail fish, tuna, and wakame, which may help support cognitive function.

II. Medications

1. Antibiotics: Under medical guidance, patients with vitreous opacity may take antibiotics such as amoxicillin capsules or ampicillin capsules for treatment.

2. Antifungal drugs: Patients may follow a doctor's instructions to take antifungal medications such as terbinafine hydrochloride tablets or nystatin tablets for treatment.

3. Iodine preparations: Patients may follow medical advice to take iodine-containing preparations such as polyvitamin-iodine complex with lecithin tablets for treatment.

In addition, patients with vitreous opacity may also take hemostatic agents, blood-activating and stasis-resolving medications under medical supervision. It is recommended to use all medications as directed by a physician.
