Introduction
Patients with myocardial strain usually have no obvious symptoms and are often diagnosed by doctors through electrocardiogram (ECG) examination. Symptoms typically occur during physical exertion, activity, or emotional stress, and may include chest tightness, palpitations, and fatigue. Myocardial strain is an ECG diagnostic term characterized primarily by ST-T wave changes, which may result from various causes such as hypertension, coronary heart disease, and others.

Patients with myocardial strain usually have no obvious symptoms and are often diagnosed incidentally by electrocardiogram (ECG) examination. Symptoms typically occur during physical exertion, activity, or mental stress, and may manifest as chest tightness, palpitations, and fatigue.

Myocardial strain is an ECG diagnostic term characterized primarily by ST-T wave abnormalities. It may result from various conditions such as hypertension or coronary atherosclerotic heart disease. It commonly occurs in elderly individuals, people whose occupations involve high levels of mental stress, those with sedentary lifestyles, and patients who are obese or have hyperlipidemia.

The ECG findings in myocardial strain include ST-T changes, such as ST-segment depression and T-wave inversion in the left precordial leads. For myocardial strain caused by hypertension, treatment under medical supervision may include antihypertensive medications such as furosemide tablets, metoprolol tablets, and nifedipine tablets. For cases caused by coronary atherosclerotic heart disease, medications prescribed by a doctor may include aspirin tablets, atorvastatin tablets, and fosinopril tablets.

Patients are advised to minimize the use of spicy seasonings such as ginger, pepper, and chili powder in their diet, quit smoking and alcohol, and avoid strong tea and coffee to prevent cardiac stimulation and reduce the burden on the heart.
