Introduction
In cases of pesticide poisoning, the patient must first be quickly removed from the contaminated area and any contaminated clothing should be taken off. If there is local contamination on the body, it can be washed with soapy water. If the poison has entered through the mouth or nose, immediate medical attention at a hospital is recommended. Under medical supervision, gastric lavage should be performed using 1% to 2% sodium bicarbonate solution or normal saline. If breathing difficulties occur, mechanical ventilation should be promptly initiated.

Pesticides are common household necessities, but prolonged skin absorption can lead to poisoning. Below are specific measures for pesticide poisoning:

1. The patient must immediately be removed from the contaminated area and take off any clothing that has been contaminated.

2. For localized skin contamination, wash the affected area with soapy water.

3. If the toxin has entered the mouth or nose, seek immediate medical attention at a hospital. Under medical supervision, perform gastric lavage using 1% to 2% sodium bicarbonate solution or normal saline.

4. If breathing difficulties occur, promptly use a ventilator to assist respiration.
