Introduction
The patient developed septic shock and required immediate resuscitation in a supine position, followed by urgent hospitalization. Broad-spectrum antibiotics should be administered within 3 hours in the emergency department and within 1 hour in the intensive care unit. Management includes controlling the infectious source, adequate drainage of secretions, insertion of a central venous catheter, ensuring adequate oxygen delivery, mechanical ventilation if necessary, and active supportive treatment for other organ systems.

Once septic shock occurs, anti-shock treatment should be initiated immediately. The specific procedure involves the following 8 steps:

1. Place the patient in a supine position immediately for emergency resuscitation.

2. Transport the patient to the hospital promptly; administer broad-spectrum antibiotics within 3 hours in the emergency department and within 1 hour if admitted to the intensive care unit.

3. Manage the infection source and ensure adequate drainage of secretions.

4. Insert a central venous catheter into the patient.

5. Ensure adequate oxygen supply; use mechanical ventilation if necessary, and maintain blood glucose levels between approximately 6.3 and 8.1 mmol/L.

6. Protect organ function and prevent complications.

7. Maintain water, electrolyte, and acid-base balance.

8. Provide other supportive treatments.
