Thermometers include mercury thermometers, infrared thermometers, and digital thermometers. Digital thermometers are convenient for daily use; after measurement, the temperature reading can be viewed directly on the screen. The specific operating steps are as follows:

1. First, disinfect the probe of the digital thermometer with alcohol.

2. Then press the power button; the "℃" symbol on the display will flash, indicating that the thermometer is ready for normal use.

3. Place the digital thermometer under the armpit and hold it firmly. During measurement, the displayed temperature value will gradually rise.

4. When the "C" symbol stops flashing and the thermometer emits a continuous beep, you can read the value directly from the screen.

5. Finally, press the power button to turn off the digital thermometer.

The digital thermometer can be cleaned with a damp cloth, but should not be exposed to high pressure or high temperatures, nor should it come into contact with corrosive substances.
