Introduction
After brain tumor surgery, recovery can generally be promoted through multiple aspects such as medication, daily care, and dietary management. For patients who remain unconscious after surgery and have various tubes—such as tracheostomy tubes, urinary catheters, or nasogastric tubes—postoperative rehabilitation involves more complex care requirements. Comprehensive nursing care must be provided to minimize postoperative complications.

After brain tumor surgery, recovery can generally be promoted through multiple aspects such as medication, daily care, and dietary management. For patients who remain unconscious after surgery and have various tubes—such as tracheostomy tubes, urinary catheters, or nasogastric feeding tubes—postoperative rehabilitation involves more complex care requirements, necessitating comprehensive nursing measures to reduce postoperative complications.

In the early postoperative stage, patients may take neurotrophic medications such as vitamin B1, B2, and methylcobalamin as directed by their physician to support nerve recovery. Routine use of antiepileptic drugs, such as phenytoin, is recommended to prevent seizures. Patients should maintain regular sleep patterns and ensure adequate rest. A low-cholesterol diet is advised to avoid placing extra metabolic burden on the liver, and alcoholic beverages should be avoided. Moderate physical exercise helps enhance immunity. Additionally, maintaining a positive mental state and strong stress-resilience is important; patients should face their condition proactively, as emotional distress may lead to endocrine imbalances and reduced immunity, negatively affecting recovery.

Close monitoring of recovery progress is essential after brain tumor surgery, and patients should attend regular follow-up appointments at the hospital as scheduled.
