How to take vitamin D3 drops
Vitamin D3 drops should generally be taken according to different population groups, such as infants and adults.
1. Infants and young children
Vitamin D3 drops are commonly used to prevent and treat vitamin D deficiency. To avoid choking in infants and young children, the capsule can be cut open and the liquid inside dripped directly into the mouth. Alternatively, heat the tip of the capsule with warm water to open it, then squeeze the liquid into the child's mouth, followed by a small amount of warm water to help swallowing and promote absorption.
2. Adults
Since adults have better swallowing ability, vitamin D3 drops can be taken on an empty stomach with warm water, or thoroughly chewed in the mouth before swallowing.
