Ultrashort wave therapy procedure
Ultrashort wave therapy refers to the method of treating diseases using ultrashort wave current, commonly used for conditions such as acute nephritis, lung abscess, acute external otitis, and acute maxillary sinusitis. This therapy must be performed at a正规 hospital, and the specific procedure is as follows:
1. Before treatment, the physician checks whether the patient has any metal objects on the body. After confirming there are no contraindications, the patient is instructed to assume a comfortable position.
2. Check that the power supply of the therapeutic device is properly connected. Set the "output adjustment" to zero and the timer knob to the minimum setting, then press the power button to start the device.
3. Warm up the device for 3–5 minutes until the treatment indicator light turns on.
4. Place the electrodes on the area of the patient's body requiring treatment, and adjust the frequency settings according to the patient’s condition.
5. During treatment, monitor the patient's response and adjust the dosage accordingly. Discontinue treatment immediately if the patient experiences severe discomfort.
6. At the end of treatment, the device will emit a "beeping" sound. Slowly turn the output control counterclockwise back to zero.
7. Turn off the power, remove the electrodes, and examine the treated area on the patient.
Note: During treatment, patients must not change their position arbitrarily or touch the instrument casing or surrounding objects. Pregnant women should not use this device.
