Introduction
Four signs of liver disease include yellowing of the skin, dull and dark complexion, palmar erythema (liver palms), and ascites (fluid accumulation in the abdomen). If any similar symptoms appear, prompt medical attention is necessary. In addition to the above symptoms, liver disease may also cause a tendency to bleed. Delaying treatment after onset is not advisable; timely medical consultation is essential to control disease progression, promote recovery of liver function, and improve the patient's condition.

The four manifestations of liver disease include yellowing of the skin, dull and dark complexion, liver palms, and ascites. If any similar symptoms appear, prompt medical attention is necessary.

  1. Yellowing of the skin

In the early stages, patients with liver disease often experience chills, fever, nausea, and other symptoms. As the condition worsens, pain in the liver area may develop, accompanied by obvious yellowing of the eyes and skin.

  2. Dull and dark complexion

In addition to yellowing of the skin, patients may also exhibit a pale, lifeless facial appearance, and some may have dark circles around the eyes.

  3. Liver palms

If the disease continues to progress, the palms of liver disease patients may differ from those of healthy individuals, appearing pale and lacking color.

  4. Ascites

In advanced or severe cases, patients may develop ascites, leading to swelling in the lower limbs and dorsal foot.

Besides the above symptoms, liver disease can also cause a tendency to bleed. Once symptoms occur, delaying medical care is not advisable; timely diagnosis and treatment are essential to control disease progression and promote recovery of liver function.
