Introduction
Ganmaoling is a commonly used medication for relieving cold symptoms, with main ingredients including paracetamol, pseudoephedrine, and chlorpheniramine. Generally, Ganmaoling can be taken orally, but it is not recommended to take it dry (without water). Additionally, Ganmaoling is not suitable for pregnant women, breastfeeding women, children, elderly individuals, or those with hypertension, heart disease, or impaired liver or kidney function, and should be used only under a doctor's guidance.

Guangmangling is a commonly used medication for relieving cold symptoms, with main ingredients including paracetamol, pseudoephedrine, and chlorpheniramine. Generally, Guangmangling should be taken orally with water, but it is not recommended to take it dry.

Since Guangmangling is a compound medication containing multiple active ingredients, taking it dry may lead to an overdose of certain components, increasing the risk of adverse reactions. Additionally, the drug's effectiveness relies on absorption through the gastrointestinal tract, and dry swallowing might impair its efficacy. Guangmangling works through the synergistic effects of its ingredients to alleviate cold symptoms: paracetamol helps relieve headache and fever; pseudoephedrine reduces nasal congestion and cough; chlorpheniramine alleviates runny nose and sneezing. The dosage and administration should follow the advice of a doctor or pharmacist. It should be taken during or after meals, avoiding administration on an empty stomach. Guangmangling should not be used long-term and generally should not exceed three days.

Guangmangling may cause some adverse reactions such as dizziness, dry mouth, nausea, and vomiting. If adverse reactions occur or symptoms worsen, medical attention should be sought promptly. Moreover, Guangmangling is not suitable for pregnant women, nursing mothers, children, elderly individuals, or those with hypertension, heart disease, or impaired liver or kidney function, and should only be used under medical supervision.
