Introduction
High estrogen levels causing absence of menstruation may be due to physiological factors, or conditions such as hyperthyroidism or ovarian hyperfunction. Adjusting one's mindset appropriately and, when necessary, taking medication as prescribed by a doctor can help treat the condition. If stress levels are high, this may lead to endocrine disorders and elevated estrogen levels. It is recommended to adjust your mindset and relax, which may help improve symptoms.

Elevated estrogen levels causing absence of menstruation may be due to physiological factors, or caused by conditions such as hyperthyroidism or ovarian hyperfunction. Adjusting one's mental state appropriately and, when necessary, taking medication under medical guidance can help treat the condition.

1. Physiological Factors

If an individual experiences significant mental stress, it may lead to endocrine disorders and elevated estrogen levels. It is recommended to adjust one’s mindset and relax, which may help improve symptoms.

2. Pathological Factors

1) Hyperthyroidism

Patients with hyperthyroidism may also experience disruptions in estrogen levels. It is advisable to reduce intake of iodine-rich foods such as seaweed and kelp. Medications such as methimazole tablets, propylthiouracil tablets, and lithium carbonate sustained-release tablets may be taken as directed by a physician. Radioactive iodine-131 therapy is another treatment option.

2) Ovarian Hyperfunction

Ovarian hyperfunction can promote increased blood estrogen levels, leading to amenorrhea (absence of menstruation). Under a doctor’s guidance, medications such as chlorpromazine hydrochloride tablets, testosterone propionate capsules, and danazol capsules may be used for treatment. Additionally, medications like Yi Mu Cao granules, Xiaoyao pills, and progesterone capsules may be prescribed to help induce menstruation.

Besides the above causes, pituitary tumors or other conditions may also be responsible. Timely medical evaluation and treatment are recommended.
