Introduction
Allergic asthma is generally not considered a chronic underlying condition. Allergic asthma is a relatively persistent disease that, if not treated promptly, may last a lifetime. Chronic underlying conditions typically refer to long-term disorders requiring continuous medication, including basic metabolic disorders, impaired immune function, and major chronic wasting diseases. Since allergic asthma is caused by an individual's own physical constitution, it does not fall under the category of chronic underlying conditions.

Allergic asthma is generally not considered a fundamental (underlying) disease.

Allergic asthma is a relatively stubborn condition. Most patients have allergies or allergic rhinitis, and may experience symptoms such as sneezing, itchy nose, and tearing. If not treated promptly, it could potentially last a lifetime. In clinical practice, fundamental diseases typically refer to chronic conditions requiring long-term medication, including basic metabolic disorders such as endocrine imbalances and diabetes; immune deficiencies such as HIV/AIDS; and major chronic wasting diseases such as malignant tumors. Allergic asthma is a condition caused by an individual's own constitution and therefore is not classified as a fundamental disease.

Patients with allergic asthma are advised to seek timely medical consultation, follow medical guidance for treatment, and control the progression of the disease.
