Pulmonary inflammation does not necessarily require hospitalization; the decision should be based on the severity of the condition. However, if the pulmonary inflammation is severe and symptoms such as drowsiness, sputum production, cough, and high fever occur, hospitalization is usually required for treatment.

1. Not required

If the lung inflammation is mild, hospitalization is generally not needed. Under a doctor's guidance, the condition can be managed by taking antibiotic medications such as cefixime tablets or cefadroxil capsules.

       2. Required

If the lung inflammation is severe and accompanied by symptoms such as drowsiness, phlegm production, coughing, high fever, gastrointestinal dysfunction, or cardiovascular disturbances, it is generally necessary to seek prompt treatment at a正规 medical facility and be hospitalized under the care of a qualified physician. Otherwise, delayed treatment may lead to more serious health complications. Lung inflammation, also known as pulmonary infection, is a common respiratory disease, often caused by bacterial, viral, or fungal infections in the lungs.

During treatment, it is important to drink plenty of warm water, maintain body warmth to avoid catching a chill, and consume foods rich in vitamins.
