Under medical guidance, treatment may include oral administration of medications such as iron dextran oral solution or ferrous fumarate granules.

2. Chronic Anemia

Chronic infections or inflammatory stimuli can also deplete the body's nutrients, potentially causing reduced protein levels in severe cases. Common symptoms include shortness of breath, chest tightness, and insomnia. Treatment under medical supervision may involve red blood cell transfusions.

3. Vitamin C Deficiency
