Introduction
Lung inflammation may lead to urticaria. Urticaria is a skin condition typically characterized by red, itchy patches or bumps on the skin, sometimes accompanied by swelling. Patients with urticaria should pay attention to adjustments in diet and lifestyle, such as avoiding allergens, maintaining adequate sleep, and avoiding excessive fatigue.

Urticaria is a skin condition typically characterized by red, itchy patches or welts on the skin, sometimes accompanied by swelling. The primary cause of urticaria is an allergic reaction, such as to certain foods, medications, chemicals, or insect bites. However, certain viral infections—such as rubella and viral hepatitis—or bacterial infections like streptococcal infection may also trigger urticaria.

Additionally, some medications used to treat pulmonary inflammation may themselves cause allergic reactions including urticaria. Treatment for urticaria depends on its underlying cause and the severity of symptoms. If urticaria is caused by an allergy, exposure to the allergen should be avoided as much as possible. Medications may also be used under a doctor's guidance, such as chlorpheniramine maleate tablets, loratadine tablets, desloratadine citrate tablets, or tranilast capsules. Oral corticosteroids such as prednisone tablets may also be prescribed.
