Introduction
The diagnostic criteria for hereditary telangiectasia include bleeding manifestations, presence of telangiectasia, and histopathological examination. Histopathological examination serves as a more direct diagnostic criterion; after evaluation, if the patient shows thinning of the vascular wall, increased fragility and susceptibility to rupture, along with reduced contractile capacity, the disease can generally be confirmed.

Diagnostic criteria for hereditary telangiectasia include bleeding manifestations, presence of telangiectasia, histopathological examination, and other factors.

1. Bleeding Manifestations

Hereditary telangiectasia is usually influenced by chromosomal factors. Patients may experience recurrent bleeding in certain areas, which can serve as a basis for diagnosis.

2. Telangiectasia

The presence of telangiectasia can also be used as a diagnostic criterion. Patients lack smooth muscle and elastic fibers in the blood vessel walls, leading to visible pinpoint red spots on the skin or mucous membranes.

3. Histopathological Examination

Histopathological examination provides a more direct diagnostic method. If the examination reveals abnormally thin, fragile, and easily ruptured vessel walls with reduced contractility, the disease can generally be confirmed.

In addition, family history is another important diagnostic criterion for hereditary telangiectasia. Patients are advised to seek treatment at正规 medical institutions, where endoscopic procedures may be used. If patients have anemia, blood transfusion therapy may also be required during treatment.
