Introduction
If the gestational age at miscarriage is small and the individual has good physical health, with no abnormal conditions during recovery, resting for about half a month is generally sufficient for most bodily functions to return to normal. However, if the gestational age is larger, physical health is poor, or symptoms such as dizziness, fatigue, and excessive sweating frequently occur after the miscarriage, the rest period should be appropriately extended, possibly up to one month.

How long the "small confinement period" (post-miscarriage rest) should last generally refers to how long a woman should rest after a miscarriage. The specific duration usually depends on the gestational age and individual recovery, and may range from half a month to one month.

1. Half a month

If the miscarriage occurs at an early gestational stage—for example, during early pregnancy—and the procedure is successful with no complications, and if the woman has good overall health and experiences no abnormalities during recovery, resting for about half a month is generally sufficient for most bodily functions to recover.

2. One month

If the miscarriage happens at a later stage, such as in the second or third trimester, or if the woman has poor physical health and frequently experiences symptoms like dizziness, fatigue, or excessive night sweats after the miscarriage, the rest period should be extended appropriately, possibly up to one month.

After a miscarriage, women should closely monitor vaginal bleeding. If bleeding persists, becomes heavy, or is accompanied by abdominal pain, prompt medical attention is recommended to prevent potential complications.
