Introduction
Viral encephalitis is classified into herpes simplex encephalitis, cytomegalovirus encephalitis, and encephalitis caused by other viruses, with different underlying causes. Herpes simplex encephalitis is primarily caused by infection with the herpes simplex virus, while cytomegalovirus encephalitis results from cytomegalovirus infection. There are more than 130 known viruses that can cause viral encephalitis.

Viral encephalitis is usually caused by viral infections and requires targeted treatment. The specific analysis is as follows:

Viral encephalitis typically occurs when the body is weak or has poor immunity, leading to an inflammatory response in the intracranial region due to viral infection. The most common type is aseptic meningitis, which is mostly caused by enteroviruses, poliovirus, Coxsackie virus, and others. Viral encephalitis significantly affects the body and commonly causes discomfort symptoms such as vomiting, nausea, and fatigue. If not treated promptly, it may lead to coma or shock in patients. For treatment, symptomatic medications are recommended. Antiviral drugs such as oseltamivir capsules or ribavirin tablets can be taken under a doctor's guidance. In more severe cases, patients should go to the hospital for lumbar puncture, followed by symptom-specific treatment based on examination results.

In daily life, pay attention to physical health, avoid excessive fatigue, and maintain a balance between work and rest. Regarding diet, meals should be light and easy to digest. Avoid consuming raw, cold, spicy, or irritating foods.
