Introduction
The term "adrenal mass" usually means there is a lesion present in the adrenal gland. Most adrenal masses can be clearly identified through examinations such as ultrasound or CT scans, and are located in or around the adrenal gland, including both benign and malignant masses. If this condition is detected, it primarily indicates that some pathological change has occurred in the adrenal tissue, possibly due to factors such as smoking, medication, or congenital kidney dysplasia.

Adrenal space-occupying lesion usually means there is a pathological change in the adrenal gland. The specific analysis is as follows:

Most adrenal space-occupying lesions can be clearly identified through examinations such as ultrasound and CT, located either within the adrenal gland or its surrounding area, including both benign and malignant lesions. If such a condition is detected, it mainly indicates that certain pathological changes have occurred in the adrenal tissue, possibly caused by factors such as smoking, medication, or congenital renal dysplasia. In cases of benign lesions, patients may experience discomfort symptoms such as abdominal pain and elevated blood pressure. For malignant lesions, there might be no noticeable symptoms in the early stages when the tumor is small; however, as the disease progresses, it may compress structures such as the lumbar muscles and kidneys, leading to adverse reactions such as coughing, lower back pain, and hematuria. The benign or malignant nature of the lesion can typically be determined under medical guidance through relevant examinations such as X-ray renal angiography, CT, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), or percutaneous renal biopsy.

For this condition, patients are advised to follow their doctor's recommendations regarding treatment options such as open surgery or laparoscopic surgery. Additionally, they should avoid excessive fatigue and undergo regular follow-up examinations.
