Introduction
Osteoarthritis can be treated, but it is difficult to cure and prone to recurrence. If the symptoms of osteoarthritis are not severe, conservative treatment options such as celecoxib capsules, acetaminophen tablets, and sodium hyaluronate injections may be considered. However, if joint function is significantly affected, it may not be possible to achieve a complete cure, and surgical interventions such as minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery or osteotomy with internal fixation may be required.

Generally, osteoarthritis can be cured, but it is relatively difficult to treat and prone to recurrence. The specific analysis is as follows:

Osteoarthritis is a degenerative condition. Its causes may be related to aging, obesity, overuse, trauma, and other factors, and it commonly occurs in middle-aged and elderly individuals, particularly affecting weight-bearing joints or those with high activity levels. If the severity of osteoarthritis is not too advanced and symptoms are not particularly severe, conservative treatment options may be chosen, such as oral administration of celecoxib capsules, acetaminophen tablets, or sodium hyaluronate injections. Additionally, supportive therapies including physical therapy, acupuncture, massage, manipulation, and functional exercises can be used to reduce inflammation and relieve pain. With proper treatment, some cases of osteoarthritis can be cured.

If arthritis is more severe, impairing joint mobility or even causing deformity, a complete cure may not be possible. In such cases, surgical interventions may be considered, such as minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery or osteotomy with internal fixation. Besides medical or surgical treatment, it is essential to strengthen the muscles surrounding the joint, enhance knee joint stability, and improve joint range of motion to ultimately restore joint function.
