Introduction
Pain in the right elbow may result from intense physical activity or overexertion, which can cause excessive muscle tension and strain, leading to discomfort. Soft tissue damage can lead to pain due to tissue congestion and edema, sometimes accompanied by redness and swelling. Inflammatory changes in the joint can also cause significant pain under stimulation by inflammatory factors, sometimes associated with restricted movement and stiffness.

Pain in the right elbow may be a physiological phenomenon or a pathological condition caused by trauma, arthritis, and other reasons. The specific analysis is as follows:

1. Physiological Phenomenon

If the right arm has undergone prolonged strenuous exercise or overuse, the muscles may become overly tense, leading to strain and pain. It is recommended to develop healthy exercise habits in daily life, ensure adequate rest, balance work and relaxation, and use heat therapy and massage to promote circulation.

2. Pathological Phenomena

1) Trauma

If the right elbow has suffered external impact, soft tissue injury may occur. Following such injury, congestion and edema can lead to pain, sometimes accompanied by redness and swelling. Under a doctor's guidance, anti-inflammatory and analgesic medications such as acetaminophen tablets or ibuprofen sustained-release capsules may be used for symptom relief.

2) Arthritis

If there is inflammatory joint disease affecting the right elbow, significant pain may arise due to stimulation by inflammatory factors. This may also be accompanied by limited movement and stiffness. Pain relievers such as naproxen tablets or loxoprofen sodium tablets may be helpful. In severe cases, surgical interventions such as joint reconstruction or arthrodesis may be considered.

Besides the common causes mentioned above, pain in the right elbow could also be due to conditions like shoulder periarthritis (frozen shoulder). Timely medical evaluation and treatment are advised.
