Introduction
Facial wrinkle treatment can generally be divided into four areas: the forehead, temples, mid-lower face, and neck. Each area has different wrinkle patterns, so the most suitable treatment methods vary accordingly. In the forehead area, wrinkles such as horizontal forehead lines and vertical glabellar lines (frown lines) commonly appear—one running horizontally and the other vertically. For these types of forehead wrinkles, injectable wrinkle reduction treatments are recommended.

Facial wrinkle treatment can generally be divided into four areas: the forehead, temples, mid-lower face, and neck. Each area has different types of wrinkles, so the most suitable treatment methods vary accordingly. A detailed analysis is as follows:

1. Forehead

Wrinkles commonly found on the forehead include horizontal forehead lines and vertical frown lines between the eyebrows. For these wrinkles, injectable treatments such as hyaluronic acid or botulinum toxin injections are recommended. Botulinum toxin works by blocking nerve signal transmission, preventing facial muscles from contracting and thereby reducing wrinkles.

2. Temples

Temple wrinkles are commonly known as crow's feet. These can also be treated with hyaluronic acid or botulinum toxin injections. However, the effects of botulinum toxin are temporary and require repeated injections. If crow's feet are deep and the above treatments prove ineffective, alternative options include thermal tightening or minimally invasive endoscopic surgery with small incisions in the forehead-temporal area.

3. Mid-Lower Face

Wrinkles in the mid-lower face primarily refer to nasolabial folds, which are typically deep and difficult to eliminate. Hyaluronic acid fillers or autologous fat grafting are commonly used for correction. However, care must be taken to control the injection volume during the filling process.

4. Neck

Mild neck wrinkles may be alleviated through daily skincare routines. More noticeable neck wrinkles can be improved via hyaluronic acid injections, botulinum toxin injections, or collagen fillers.

In summary, various treatment options are available for wrinkles in each area. However, the most appropriate method should be determined only after a professional evaluation at a qualified medical facility.
