Introduction
At one month of pregnancy, blood HCG and abdominal color Doppler ultrasound can be performed to confirm whether the embryo has implanted in the uterus. Between two to three months, NT ultrasound can be used to assess whether the fetus has brain abnormalities or limb developmental deficiencies. From four to five months, mid-trimester Down syndrome screening can be conducted. Between five to six months, a 4D ultrasound is recommended. After seven months, an ultrasound should be performed monthly to monitor fetal growth.

The medical examinations conducted during different stages of pregnancy vary. The specific details are as follows:

1. One month pregnant

Blood HCG testing and abdominal color Doppler ultrasound can be performed to confirm whether the embryo has successfully implanted in the uterus. For some women with late implantation, transvaginal ultrasound may also be used to check for fetal heartbeat and yolk sac.

2. Two to three months pregnant

Nuchal translucency (NT) ultrasound can be performed to assess whether the fetus has brain abnormalities or limb developmental defects. Early screening for Down syndrome can also be carried out during this period. Pregnant women should additionally undergo routine blood tests, urine tests, and electrocardiograms to monitor their overall health.

3. Four to five months pregnant

Mid-term Down syndrome screening can be performed to detect congenital disorders such as trisomy 21 or trisomy 18. Pregnant women should also regularly monitor their blood pressure.

4. Five to six months pregnant

Four-dimensional (4D) ultrasound can be performed to evaluate whether fetal growth and development are normal. Pregnant women should also undergo a glucose tolerance test to screen for gestational diabetes.

In addition, from before and after the seventh month of pregnancy, women should have an ultrasound examination once a month to monitor fetal growth. Specific schedules and requirements should be discussed with a professional doctor during regular prenatal visits.
