Introduction
A tumor in the liver is usually referred to as a liver tumor. Liver tumors can be treated through various methods, including surgery, chemotherapy, and radiofrequency ablation. The primary treatment for liver tumors is surgical intervention, which is suitable for single, small tumors within the liver. Surgery can be performed either as traditional open surgery or laparoscopic surgery. In addition to these approaches, radiotherapy and other treatments may also be used to improve outcomes.

A tumor in the liver usually refers to a liver tumor. Liver tumors can be treated through various methods such as surgery, chemotherapy, and radiofrequency ablation. A detailed analysis is as follows:

  1. Surgical Treatment

Surgery is the primary treatment method for liver tumors. This approach is suitable for single, relatively small tumors within the liver and can be performed either through traditional open surgery or laparoscopic surgery.

  2. Chemotherapy

Chemotherapy is a drug-based treatment targeting cancer cells and can be administered via intravenous injection or orally. Chemotherapeutic agents include vincristine sulfate for injection and cisplatin for injection. Chemotherapy is mainly used for malignant liver tumors such as hepatocellular carcinoma and helps control tumor growth and metastasis. However, its effectiveness in treating benign tumors is limited.

  3. Radiofrequency Ablation

Radiofrequency ablation destroys liver tumor tissue using high-frequency electrical currents. This method is suitable for single, small liver tumors and can be performed under local anesthesia. As a minimally invasive procedure, it allows for rapid recovery but is not recommended for large tumors or cases with metastasis.

In addition to the above treatments, radiotherapy may also be used to improve outcomes. During treatment, regular hospital follow-up visits are necessary, which help patients better manage their condition and improve quality of life.
