Introduction
Peritoneal dialysis catheter removal, also known as the "Pull technique," refers to the procedure of continuously pulling the peritoneal dialysis catheter after local infiltration anesthesia until the entire catheter is removed. This procedure must be performed at a正规 medical facility. After surgery, patients should consume more high-protein foods, but if there is excessive fluid, phosphorus, or other substances in the body, fluid intake should be restricted.

Peritoneal dialysis catheter removal, also known as the "Pull technique," refers to the procedure of continuously pulling the peritoneal dialysis catheter after local infiltration anesthesia until the entire catheter is removed. This procedure must be performed at a正规 hospital and involves the following specific steps:

1. The patient lies in a supine position. The anesthesiologist administers local anesthesia near the peritoneal dialysis catheter, while the surgeon performs routine disinfection around the catheter site and drapes the area.

2. After the anesthesia takes effect, the surgeon uses an electrocautery device to separate the subcutaneous cuff. The left hand stabilizes the abdominal wall while the right hand intermittently pulls on the silicone tube.

3. Once loosened, the intra-abdominal portion of the catheter is slowly withdrawn, followed by inspection of the mechanical integrity of the silicone tube.

4. After achieving hemostasis, the subcutaneous layers and skin are sutured sequentially.

After surgery, patients should consume more high-protein foods. However, if there is excessive fluid, phosphorus, or other substances in the body, fluid intake should be restricted, and the diet should primarily consist of low-fat, low-salt, and low-phosphorus foods.
