Introduction
The area between the eyebrows feels full and tender. This condition is usually caused by factors such as lack of sleep, local inflammation, or tension-type headaches. Patients may benefit from general treatments or medication. It could also be related to sinusitis, trigeminal neuralgia, or other causes. Due to the variety of possible underlying reasons, it is recommended that patients go to the hospital for a thorough examination.

There is a feeling of fullness and tenderness in the glabella (area between the eyebrows). This may generally be caused by factors such as sleep deprivation, local inflammation, or tension-type headaches. Patients can improve through general management or medication. Specific causes are as follows:

1. Sleep Deprivation

If patients frequently stay up late over a long period, they may develop sleep deprivation. Over time, this could lead to tenderness and swelling in the glabella area. This is a normal physiological response and usually does not require special treatment. Ensuring adequate rest and sufficient sleep in daily life can help resolve the symptoms.

2. Local Inflammation

It is also possible that trauma or other factors cause rupture of subcutaneous capillaries in the glabella area, which, if left untreated, may trigger local inflammation and stimulate nerves in this region, leading to discomfort. In such cases, patients may take medications such as amoxicillin capsules or roxithromycin capsules.

3. Tension-Type Headache

Tension-type headache is a common primary headache, often triggered by mental stress or anxiety. It commonly causes a sensation of pressure in the head, and some patients may experience discomfort in the glabella area. If tenderness is severe, patients may take medications such as acetaminophen tablets or enteric-coated aspirin tablets.

Besides the above causes, conditions such as sinusitis or trigeminal neuralgia may also contribute. Given the variety of potential causes, patients are advised to visit a hospital for a thorough evaluation.
