Introduction
Sudden tinnitus, with a sensation similar to having water in the ear but without pain, may be related to environmental factors, autonomic nervous system dysfunction, hypertension, and other causes. It can be managed through daily care, medication, and other interventions. If one is suddenly exposed to a noisy environment, it may damage the auditory system and lead to tinnitus. Such cases usually do not require special treatment.

Sudden tinnitus, with a sensation similar to having water in the ear but without pain, may be related to environmental factors, autonomic nervous dysfunction, hypertension, and other causes. It can be treated through daily care, medication, and other interventions. Specific analyses are as follows:

1. Environmental factors

If suddenly exposed to a noisy environment, the auditory system may become damaged, leading to tinnitus. This condition usually does not require special treatment and tends to resolve after leaving the noisy environment.

2. Autonomic nervous dysfunction

Autonomic nervous dysfunction may cause abnormal vascular tone and impaired blood circulation, thereby affecting blood supply and metabolism in the auditory system and resulting in ear discomfort. Patients may take neurotrophic medications such as Oryzanol tablets or Vitamin B1 tablets as directed by a physician.

3. Hypertension

Hypertension may lead to changes in blood vessel walls and circulatory disturbances, which can impair blood flow and metabolic function in the auditory system, causing abnormal ear symptoms. Patients may follow medical advice to take antihypertensive medications such as Valsartan capsules or Losartan Potassium and Hydrochlorothiazide tablets.

In addition to the common causes listed above, this symptom may also be associated with eardrum perforation, hyperthyroidism, diabetes, and other conditions. If symptoms persist without improvement, timely medical evaluation at a hospital is recommended.
