Introduction
Sudden dizziness in women may be related to anemia, benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (ear stone syndrome), cervical spondylosis, or other causes. Patients can treat the condition by taking oral medications. Anemia refers to an abnormal decrease in the number of red blood cells in the peripheral blood. When levels fall below the lower limit of the normal range, tissues and organs cannot receive sufficient oxygen, leading to symptoms such as pale skin, dizziness, and fatigue. Patients may take Ejiao Blood-enriching Granules as directed by a physician.

Generally, sudden dizziness in women may be related to conditions such as anemia, benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV), or cervical spondylosis. Patients can treat the condition with oral medications. Specific analyses are as follows:

1. Anemia

Anemia refers to an abnormally low number of red blood cells in the peripheral blood. When levels fall below the lower limit of the normal range, tissues and organs cannot receive sufficient oxygen, leading to symptoms such as pale skin, dizziness, and fatigue. Patients may take medications such as Ejiao Blood-enriching Granules or Wuji Baifeng Pills as directed by a physician.

2. Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV)

BPPV is a common peripheral vestibular disorder characterized clinically by recurrent episodes of positional vertigo or dizziness, accompanied by characteristic nystagmus. Patients may take medications such as Ginkgo Leaf Extract Tablets or Betahistine Hydrochloride Tablets as prescribed by a doctor.

3. Cervical Spondylosis

In patients with pre-existing cervical spondylosis, compression of surrounding nerves or blood vessels in the neck may lead to cerebral ischemia and hypoxia, resulting in transient dizziness, body weakness, and stiffness or pain in the neck and back. Patients may take medications such as Celecoxib Capsules or Ibuprofen Sustained-Release Tablets as directed by a physician to relieve symptoms.

In addition to the above common causes, sudden dizziness may also be associated with hypertension, stroke, or cerebral infarction. If symptoms persist without improvement, patients should seek medical evaluation at a hospital for appropriate diagnosis and treatment.
