Introduction
In general, urine test strips are used to detect substances in urine such as bilirubin, ketones, glucose, protein, and pH. Taking glucose testing as an example, a urine test strip is dipped into a urine sample, and the resulting color change on the strip can be compared with a standard color chart to determine the glucose level in the urine. To ensure accurate results, it is recommended to undergo testing at a正规 medical facility.

Generally, a urine test strip refers to a reagent strip used to test for bilirubin, ketones, glucose, protein, pH, and other components in urine. Taking the detection of glucose in urine as an example, the specific procedure is as follows:

1. Use a disposable urine cup to collect a small amount of first-morning urine.

2. Tear open the aluminum pouch along the cut line and remove the test strip.

3. Dip the test strip into the urine sample, then remove it after 2 seconds and place it flat on a clean surface. Compare the color of the test strip with the standard color chart to obtain the result.

If the color is blue, it indicates no glucose in the urine; if green, it indicates approximately 0.5 g/100 ml of glucose; if yellow-green, approximately 1 g/100 ml; if orange-yellow, approximately 1.5 g/100 ml; and if brick red, it indicates a glucose level of 2 g/100 ml. To ensure accuracy, it is recommended to undergo testing at a正规 medical facility.
