If the test result is positive, it is advisable to promptly inform your doctor for appropriate management.

Generally, a COVID-19 antigen test refers to the detection of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, clinically performed using a SARS-CoV-2 antigen testing kit to determine whether there is an active infection. The specific procedure is as follows:

1. Wash your hands thoroughly before testing and check that the packaging of the SARS-CoV-2 antigen test kit is intact.

2. Use a cotton swab or clean tissue to wipe the nasal cavity and remove any foreign debris.

3. Remove the nasal swab, tilt your head backward, and slowly insert the swab into one nostril along the nasal passage. Rotate it four times, then withdraw it.

4. Place the nasal swab into the extraction buffer solution, mix thoroughly, snap off the swab stick at the marked line, and securely close the vial cap.

5. Break open the seal on the vial cap and dispense the liquid into the sample well of the test device. Wait 15 minutes, then interpret the results.

6. If only the C (control) line appears, the result is negative; if both the C and T (test) lines appear, the result is positive; if only the T line appears without the C line, the result is invalid and the test must be repeated.

If you need to undergo a SARS-CoV-2 antigen test, it is recommended to visit a reputable medical facility and perform the test under the guidance of a qualified healthcare professional to ensure accuracy. If the test result is positive, promptly inform your doctor for appropriate follow-up management.
