Introduction
Being eight months pregnant falls within the late stages of pregnancy. At this point, the expectant mother's body tends to be quite cumbersome, and the hot spring environment increases the risk of slipping or falling, which could potentially lead to premature labor. The high temperature of hot springs also places additional strain on the pregnant woman's heart and lung functions, possibly causing symptoms such as difficulty breathing and irregular heartbeat while soaking. Remaining in a high-temperature, poorly ventilated environment for extended periods may also easily result in oxygen deficiency.

Generally speaking, it is not recommended to take hot spring baths during the eighth month of pregnancy. The specific reasons are as follows:

By the eighth month, pregnancy has entered the third trimester. At this stage, pregnant women usually experience increased body weight and reduced mobility. The hot spring environment may be slippery and increase the risk of falls or other accidents, potentially leading to preterm labor. The high temperature of hot springs can also place extra strain on the heart and lungs of pregnant women, possibly causing symptoms such as shortness of breath and irregular heartbeat. Remaining in a high-temperature, poorly ventilated environment for extended periods may lead to oxygen deficiency, which is detrimental to fetal development. Additionally, pregnant women naturally have lowered immunity. If the water quality of the hot spring is not properly maintained, it may lead to gynecological infections or urinary tract infections. Persistent infections could result in complications such as premature rupture of membranes or chorioamnionitis. Therefore, taking hot spring baths is not advised during the eighth month of pregnancy.

Maintain healthy daily habits and ensure adequate nutritional intake. Also, continue regular prenatal checkups to monitor fetal development.
