Introduction
The disappearance of pregnancy symptoms at seven weeks, along with lower back soreness and pain, may be due to reduced early pregnancy reactions, pelvic pain associated with pregnancy, urinary tract infection, kidney stones, or lumbar muscle strain. Pregnancy symptoms are very common in early pregnancy and typically include nausea, vomiting, fatigue, and so on. However, around week seven, some pregnant women may notice that their pregnancy symptoms gradually diminish or disappear.

In general, the disappearance of pregnancy-related symptoms along with lower back soreness or pain at seven weeks of gestation may be caused by reduced early pregnancy reactions, lumbar muscle strain, pelvic pain, urinary tract infection, or kidney stones. Symptomatic treatment can be carried out under a doctor's guidance. Specific analyses are as follows:

  1. Reduced Early Pregnancy Symptoms

Pregnancy reactions such as nausea, vomiting, and fatigue are common during early pregnancy. However, around week seven, due to rising hormone levels, pregnant women may notice these symptoms gradually diminish or disappear. Nevertheless, as the fetus grows, symptoms such as lower back soreness and pain may begin to appear.

  2. Lumbar Muscle Strain

Lumbar muscle strain refers to pain caused by overuse or injury of the lower back muscles. If a pregnant woman experiences muscle strain, she may develop back soreness and pain. It is recommended to use a hot water bottle or warm towel for local heat application, which can help relieve muscle discomfort.

  3. Pelvic Pain

Pelvic pain is one of the common discomforts experienced during pregnancy. Lower back soreness and pain may result from changes in body center of gravity, relaxation and expansion of pelvic ligaments, and resulting instability of the pelvic joints. Getting adequate rest can help alleviate these symptoms.

  4. Urinary Tract Infection (UTI)

During pregnancy, hormonal changes and uterine pressure make pregnant women more susceptible to urinary tract infections, which may present with symptoms such as frequent urination, urgency, and painful urination, leading to lower back soreness and pain. If symptoms are severe, medications such as cefixime granules or amoxicillin capsules may be used under medical supervision.

  5. Kidney Stones

Lower back soreness and pain in pregnant women may also be caused by kidney stones. If severe back pain occurs along with blood in the urine or increased urination frequency, prompt medical attention is necessary. Treatment options such as extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy may be performed under a doctor’s guidance.

Maintaining a nutritious diet supports fetal health. Additionally, regular prenatal check-ups are important to monitor fetal development.
