Introduction
Exercise and sweating generally cannot reduce fever. Fever is commonly caused by upper respiratory tract infections, mostly due to viral infections. In cases of low-grade fever, wiping the body with lukewarm water can achieve a physical cooling effect and help prevent the condition from worsening. If fever is accompanied by symptoms such as pain or discomfort, these symptoms can be relieved by taking certain antipyretic and analgesic medications.

Fever is commonly caused by upper respiratory tract infections, mostly due to viral infections. For low-grade fever, wiping the body with lukewarm water may help achieve physical cooling and prevent the condition from worsening. If fever is accompanied by pain or discomfort, symptoms can be relieved by taking antipyretic and analgesic medications such as acetaminophen tablets or ibuprofen capsules.

When running a fever, individuals often experience fatigue and other symptoms, so adequate rest is recommended. Engaging in intense or strenuous exercise should be avoided. Excessive sweating during exercise may lead to chilling, potentially worsening the fever. Although sweating through exercise may gradually lower body temperature under normal circumstances, this method is not suitable for sick individuals. In elderly patients or those with weak constitutions, inappropriate physical activity may exacerbate existing conditions and lead to serious consequences.

During treatment, patients are advised to get sufficient rest, avoid overexertion and staying up late, follow a light diet, avoid spicy and irritating foods, and abstain from smoking and alcohol.
