Why does seminal vesiculitis keep recurring?
In general, recurrent seminal vesiculitis may be caused by factors such as poor lifestyle habits, excessive fatigue, untreated underlying diseases, lymphatic infection, or improper medication use. Patients are advised to seek treatment under the guidance of a physician.
1. Lifestyle habits: If patients have unhealthy daily habits, such as frequent late-night sleeping, smoking, or drinking alcohol, their immune function may decline, leading to recurrent seminal vesiculitis. It is recommended that patients improve their lifestyle by ensuring adequate rest, avoiding staying up late, quitting smoking and alcohol, maintaining a light diet, and engaging in appropriate physical exercise, which can usually help alleviate this condition.
2. Excessive fatigue: If patients do not take proper care of themselves and frequently engage in heavy physical labor, it may lead to excessive physical exhaustion, affecting the seminal vesicles and causing recurrent episodes of seminal vesiculitis. Patients should ensure sufficient rest, avoid overexertion, and refrain from intense physical activity.
3. Untreated underlying conditions: Seminal vesiculitis may be associated with urinary tract infections or benign prostatic hyperplasia. If only the seminal vesiculitis is treated while the primary disease remains unresolved, the ongoing progression of the underlying condition may repeatedly trigger seminal vesiculitis. When necessary, patients may take medications such as cefaclor capsules, ampicillin capsules, or Qianlieshutong capsules under medical supervision.
4. Lymphatic infection: Patients with intestinal inflammation may easily develop infection in the seminal vesicles via the lymphatic system, leading to recurrent seminal vesiculitis. Therefore, patients with lymphatic infections should receive comprehensive treatment, which may shorten the duration of illness. When necessary, medications such as cefixime chewable tablets or amoxicillin capsules may be taken under a doctor’s guidance.
5. Improper medication use: Seminal vesiculitis is typically treated with medication. If patients discontinue medication on their own once symptoms disappear without following medical advice, bacteria may still remain in the seminal vesicles. When immunity is low, these bacteria can multiply and cause recurrence of seminal vesiculitis. When necessary, medications such as ofloxacin tablets or ciprofloxacin hydrochloride tablets may be used under medical supervision.
Patients are advised to seek timely medical attention when experiencing discomfort and to undergo standardized treatment under a physician's guidance, which will facilitate recovery.
