Introduction
In general, an anterior uterus tends to show pregnancy more prominently. The uterus is located at the lowest part of the pelvic floor and is held in the center by eight ligaments. In some women, the uterus leans slightly forward, while in others it leans slightly backward. When the uterus is positioned anteriorly, the growing fetus lies in front of the uterus, making it easier to observe abdominal changes at 12 weeks of pregnancy compared to a posteriorly positioned uterus.

In general, a pregnancy with an anteverted uterus tends to show a more prominent belly bulge earlier. The specific analysis is as follows:

The uterus is located at the lowest part of the pelvic floor and is held in the center by eight ligaments. In some women, the uterus leans slightly forward (anteverted), while in others it tilts slightly backward (retroverted). When the uterus is anteverted, during pregnancy the growing fetus lies more toward the front of the abdomen. Therefore, at around 12 weeks of gestation, the abdominal bulge is typically more noticeable compared to pregnancies with a retroverted uterus. Because an anteverted uterus positions the pregnancy closer to the anterior uterine wall, the belly may become visible slightly earlier than in typical cases. However, this is considered a normal physiological phenomenon and generally does not affect fetal development.

If a patient experiences any discomfort or unusual symptoms, it is recommended to seek timely medical evaluation at a hospital to avoid delays in diagnosis and treatment.
