Introduction
Diarrhea refers to loose or watery stools. Diarrhea accompanied by cold symptoms, cough, and headache may be related to improper diet, environmental factors, allergies, acute gastroenteritis, mild food poisoning, or other causes. It is recommended to seek medical attention promptly, identify the underlying cause, and receive symptomatic treatment under the guidance of a qualified physician. Symptoms can be improved by adjusting the diet, focusing on light and easily digestible foods such as eggs, millet porridge, and well-cooked noodles.

Diarrhea refers to loose or watery stools. Diarrhea, cold symptoms, cough, and headache may be related to improper diet, environmental factors, allergies, acute gastroenteritis, food poisoning, and other causes. It is recommended to seek medical attention promptly, identify the underlying cause, and receive symptomatic treatment under the guidance of a qualified physician.

1. Improper diet: Consuming spicy, stimulating, raw, cold, or greasy foods—such as chili peppers, fatty meats, and ice cream—may irritate the digestive tract, leading to discomfort such as diarrhea and cough. Symptoms can be improved by adjusting dietary habits, focusing on light and easily digestible foods like eggs, millet porridge, and soft noodles, which help alleviate discomfort.

2. Environmental factors: In cold and damp environments, the respiratory mucosa may become irritated, weakening the respiratory system's defenses and increasing the risk of catching a cold. This may also be accompanied by diarrhea and headache. Try to avoid prolonged exposure to cold and humid conditions. When going outdoors in cold weather, dress warmly and wear a mask to reduce contact with pathogens.

3. Allergy: If individuals with colds come into contact with allergens, they may experience allergic reactions such as skin itching, diarrhea, and cough. Patients can take antihistamines such as chlorpheniramine maleate tablets, loratadine tablets, or levocetirizine hydrochloride tablets under a doctor’s guidance to relieve symptoms.

4. Acute gastroenteritis: This is mainly caused by improper diet or bacterial infection. After irritation of the digestive tract, symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea may occur. Severe diarrhea can lead to disturbances in water and electrolyte balance, potentially resulting in symptoms like cough and headache. Treatment should be conducted under medical supervision using medications such as smectite powder, hydrotalcite tablets, or amoxicillin capsules.

5. Food poisoning: Usually caused by consuming contaminated or undercooked food, this condition irritates the gastrointestinal mucosa, causing diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting. In severe cases, it may trigger an immune response leading to headache. Patients should go to the hospital promptly for treatments such as gastric lavage (stomach pumping) and catharsis.

Maintaining healthy eating habits in daily life is important. Avoid overeating, picky eating, or loss of appetite to prevent adverse effects on health.
