Introduction
Oral herpes can be treated through general management, topical medications, oral drugs, traditional Chinese medicine, and intravenous injection. If patients experience discomfort symptoms, they are advised to seek timely medical attention at a hospital. Patients should maintain regular daily routines and, when physically able, engage in appropriate exercise to help strengthen their constitution.

In general, oral herpes can be treated through conservative management, topical medications, oral medications, traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), intravenous injection, and other methods. If patients experience discomfort, it is recommended to seek timely medical attention at a hospital to avoid delaying treatment. The specific approaches are as follows:

1. General Management

Patients with oral herpes should maintain a light diet in daily life, avoid spicy and irritating foods, choose soft and easily digestible foods, and prevent mechanical injury to the oral lesions.

2. Topical Medication

Patients may use medications that promote oral healing under medical guidance, such as compound chlorhexidine mouthwash, kangfuxin solution, or酞丁安 cream (phtalidine tioconazole cream), which can help control disease progression.

3. Oral Medication

Since herpetic stomatitis is caused by viral infection, patients may take antiviral drugs orally as directed by a physician, such as acyclovir tablets, ganciclovir tablets, or compound glycyrrhizin tablets.

4. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)

Patients may also receive TCM treatments for oral herpes, including acupuncture and point-block therapy. Under medical guidance, they may use herbal formulations such as Huanglian Shangqing Pills, Lianqiao Baidu Tablets, or Qingre Huadu Pills, in addition to acupuncture and point-block therapy.

5. Intravenous Injection

For patients with severe oral herpes who have difficulty eating or cannot eat at all, intravenous infusion may be administered under medical supervision, using agents such as acyclovir injection, ribavirin injection, or ganciclovir injection.

It is recommended that patients maintain regular作息 (daily routines), engage in appropriate physical activity when physically able, which helps strengthen the body's resistance. Additionally, maintaining good oral hygiene and a positive mental state is important for recovery.
