Introduction
In general, anemia with a hemoglobin level of 85 g/L may not require hospitalization. A hemoglobin level of 85 g/L usually falls within the range of moderate anemia. Patients typically exhibit only mild symptoms such as slight dizziness and fatigue, and in the absence of emergencies such as acute blood loss or rapid hemolysis, hospitalization is usually unnecessary. In such cases, oral medication under medical guidance is often sufficient for treatment.

In general, anemia with a hemoglobin level of 85 g/L does not require hospitalization.

Hemoglobin levels between 90–120 g/L are considered mild anemia, 60–90 g/L moderate anemia, 30–60 g/L severe anemia, and below 30 g/L extremely severe anemia. A hemoglobin level of 85 g/L typically falls within the range of moderate anemia. Patients usually exhibit only mild symptoms such as slight dizziness or fatigue, and in the absence of emergencies like acute blood loss or rapid hemolysis, hospitalization is generally unnecessary. In such cases, oral medication under medical supervision—such as iron supplements (e.g., iron dextran tablets, ferrous sulfate tablets) and vitamin B12—can be used, along with dietary adjustments to increase intake of iron-rich and vitamin-rich foods.

After the condition is stabilized, physical activity can be gradually increased, but strenuous exercise and excessive fatigue should be avoided. Additionally, sudden changes in body position should be avoided to prevent symptoms such as fainting.
