Introduction
If chemotherapy patients do not have reproductive system diseases, they can generally engage in sexual activity, which usually does not cause significant adverse effects on the body; however, sexual activity should be performed appropriately. If chemotherapy patients suffer from reproductive system diseases, they generally should avoid sexual activity, as it may exacerbate their condition and be detrimental to their health.

In general, if a chemotherapy patient does not have a reproductive system disease, sexual activity is usually permissible. However, if the chemotherapy is due to a reproductive system disease, sexual activity may not be advisable. The specific analysis is as follows:

If a patient is undergoing chemotherapy for a condition unrelated to the reproductive system and their reproductive organs are in healthy condition, sexual activity is generally acceptable and typically does not cause adverse effects on the body. However, it should be done moderately—excessive sexual activity should be avoided to prevent excessive physical fatigue.

If a patient is receiving chemotherapy due to a reproductive system disease, sexual activity is generally not recommended during treatment. Sexual intercourse may stimulate the reproductive organs, potentially worsen the underlying reproductive condition, and further exhaust the patient's already weakened physical state, which could impair recovery.

It is recommended that chemotherapy patients maintain a positive mindset, follow a balanced and light diet, and ensure adequate intake of nutrients to provide energy and support the body’s recovery process.
