Introduction
Individuals with a balanced constitution and no chronic conditions such as hypertension or diabetes can drink it in moderation every day, which may help nourish the liver and kidneys, improve liver function, and benefit eye health. However, those with a yin-deficient constitution or internal heat toxicity, especially those who have chronic diseases like hypertension or diabetes, should not consume it daily, as it may cause blood pressure fluctuations and be detrimental to disease management.

Generally, it is not recommended to drink goji berry and chrysanthemum tea every day. The detailed analysis is as follows:

Goji berry and chrysanthemum tea is a beverage made by combining goji berries and chrysanthemum flowers. Goji berries contain nutrients such as polysaccharides and carotenoids, which have the effects of nourishing the liver and kidneys and improving vision. Chrysanthemum is rich in flavonoids and has properties that clear heat, detoxify the body, and improve liver-related eye conditions. When used together, they help nourish the liver, improve eyesight, clear internal heat, and reduce fireiness. However, chrysanthemum is considered cold in nature, and although goji berries are neutral, long-term and excessive consumption may lead to an over-intake of nutrients, increasing the burden on the body. For individuals with a "hot" constitution—such as those who frequently experience dry mouth, sore throat, irritability, or constipation—moderate consumption of this tea can help clear excess heat and relieve symptoms. Nevertheless, daily consumption is still not advised, as prolonged intake may excessively cool the body, weaken yang energy, and disrupt the body's yin-yang balance.

For individuals with a "cold" constitution—such as those who often have cold hands and feet, diarrhea, or spleen-stomach deficiency with cold symptoms—it is generally inappropriate to consume cold-natured beverages like chrysanthemum tea. Drinking it daily would further increase internal coldness, potentially worsening discomfort, impairing spleen and stomach function, and leading to indigestion, abdominal pain, or diarrhea.

In daily life, moderate consumption of goji berry and chrysanthemum tea is advisable. Drinking it 2–3 times per week is generally appropriate, allowing one to benefit from its health-promoting properties without causing adverse effects. Additionally, intake can be adjusted according to individual physical condition and seasonal changes.
