Introduction
In general, the severity of lymph node inflammation mainly depends on its underlying cause and disease progression. If lymph node swelling is caused by a mild infection, it is usually not serious. However, persistent or unexplained lymph node enlargement may indicate a more serious condition. In daily life, maintaining good living and dietary habits is recommended to help prevent the occurrence of lymph node inflammation.

Generally, the severity of lymph node inflammation mainly depends on its underlying cause and disease progression. If the swelling is due to a mild infection, it is usually not serious. However, persistent or unexplained lymph node enlargement may indicate a more serious condition. If discomfort occurs, it is recommended to seek medical attention promptly. Specific analysis is as follows:

If the body experiences a minor infection, nearby lymph nodes may swell but typically without significant pain. The nodes feel soft, have clear boundaries, and are freely movable. In such cases, lymph node inflammation is generally not severe and can be relieved with warm compresses, physical therapy, or similar methods to alleviate local pain and swelling.

If lymph node swelling exceeds two centimeters in size, persists for a prolonged period, or is accompanied by symptoms such as night sweats, it could be caused by tuberculous lymphadenitis. In such cases, anti-tuberculosis medications—such as isoniazid vitamin B6 tablets, rifampicin tablets, and ethambutol hydrochloride capsules—should be taken under medical supervision.

In daily life, maintaining good living habits and a healthy diet is recommended to help prevent the occurrence of lymph node inflammation.
