Introduction
The massage techniques for tenosynovitis are diverse, including circular massage, stretching and relaxation, acupoint massage, Yi Zhi Chan (one-finger meditation) pushing technique, and traction massage. If symptoms of tenosynovitis are severe, such as intense pain and significant movement restriction, prompt medical attention should be sought. In daily life, it is important to avoid overusing the affected area and to maintain correct posture and movements to prevent the occurrence and exacerbation of tenosynovitis.

There are various methods for relieving tenosynovitis through massage, including circular massage, stretching and relaxation, acupoint massage, Yizhichan (one-finger Chan) pushing technique, and traction massage. The details are as follows:

1. Circular Massage

Gently perform slow circular massage around the affected area using the thumb, alternating between clockwise and counterclockwise directions. The movements should be gentle, gradually increasing the massage area to promote local blood circulation.

2. Stretching and Relaxation

Gently hold the distal end of the affected finger or limb and slowly perform stretching and flexing movements. Hold for several seconds at the maximum range of motion before slowly relaxing. This helps improve the mobility of the tendon sheath and tendon and reduces adhesion.

3. Acupoint Massage

Locate acupoints such as Hegu (LI4), Yanggu (SI5), Quchi (LI11), and Jiquan (HT1), and massage them in sequence using the fingers, applying pressure on each acupoint for several minutes. Be careful not to apply excessive pressure to avoid discomfort.

4. Yizhichan Pushing Technique

Apply the Yizhichan pushing technique around the affected area for several minutes. Repeat this several times daily to help relieve symptoms and promote blood circulation.

5. Traction Massage

Pull the affected area gently by hand, then bend the affected part and use the thumb or index finger to press and massage the relevant area. Repeat this process several times, then gently knead the affected area.

If the symptoms of tenosynovitis are severe, such as intense pain or significant movement restriction, timely medical attention should be sought and treatment followed under a doctor's guidance. Additionally, it is important to avoid overusing the affected area in daily life, and to maintain proper posture and movements to prevent the occurrence or worsening of tenosynovitis.
