Introduction
Skin redness from sunburn is caused by excessive UV exposure, which leads to an inflammatory response and dilation of blood vessels in the skin. To treat sunburn-induced redness, methods such as applying cold compresses, using aloe vera gel, staying hydrated, and avoiding further sun exposure can be effective. At the same time, it is important to use gentle, non-irritating skincare products on sunburned skin and avoid products containing irritating ingredients such as alcohol and fragrances.

Sunburned and reddened skin results from an inflammatory reaction and blood vessel dilation caused by excessive ultraviolet radiation. Relief methods for sunburn include cold compresses, applying aloe vera, staying hydrated, and avoiding further sun exposure. If any abnormalities occur, prompt medical attention is recommended. Specific measures are as follows:

  1. Cold compress: A cold compress can effectively reduce skin swelling and pain. Applying an ice pack or a cool, damp cloth gently to the affected area can help constrict blood vessels, reduce inflammation, and alleviate redness.

  2. Apply aloe vera: Aloe vera has natural anti-inflammatory and moisturizing properties, making it highly effective for repairing sun-damaged skin. Direct application of aloe vera gel to the affected area can soothe the skin and reduce swelling and discomfort.

  3. Hydration: After sunburn, the skin tends to lose moisture, leading to dryness and peeling. Drinking plenty of water and using moisturizing products can help maintain the skin's water balance.

  4. Avoid further sun exposure: Skin that has been sunburned is more sensitive, and additional sun exposure can worsen inflammation and damage. Therefore, it is important to avoid direct sunlight until the skin has fully recovered and to take appropriate sun protection measures.

  5. Medication: In cases of severe sunburn, medications such as calamine lotion, zinc oxide ointment, or ibuprofen tablets may be used under a doctor's guidance to relieve pain, clean and disinfect the affected area, prevent infection, and promote healing.

Additionally, gentle and non-irritating skincare products should be used after sunburn. Avoid skincare products containing alcohol, fragrances, or other irritating ingredients, as they may exacerbate skin inflammation and discomfort.
