Preventive measures for PKU include optimizing reproductive planning, prenatal care and examinations, dietary management, environmental improvements, and early intervention. 1. Optimize Reproductive Planning
It is important to develop a sound reproductive plan, especially avoiding consanguineous marriages, as these may increase the risk of inherited diseases, thereby increasing the likelihood of PKU. 2. Prenatal Care and Examinations

The living environment should maintain a suitable temperature and humidity. It is recommended to keep the temperature around 24°C and humidity between 30%-40% to reduce the risk of catching a chill or infections. Additionally, exposure to substances that may worsen symptoms, such as chemicals and toxic gases, should be avoided.

Once symptoms of PKU are detected, early intervention should be promptly initiated to reduce the likelihood of disease progression and control the condition. This includes timely medication or psychological adjustment.
