Introduction
The effectiveness of this vaccine is not permanent but rather lasts for a certain period. Younger and healthier individuals, whose immune systems are more active, may experience a stronger and longer-lasting immune response after vaccination, which could mean protection for a longer duration. Vaccines can prevent infection with the novel coronavirus to some extent, but they cannot provide complete protection.

The COVID-19 vaccine usually refers to the vaccine against the novel coronavirus. This vaccine generally does not provide lifelong immunity. Detailed analysis is as follows:

The effectiveness of this vaccine is not permanent but rather lasts for a certain duration. Younger and healthier individuals, due to their more active immune systems, may experience a stronger and longer-lasting immune response after vaccination, which could mean longer protection. In contrast, elderly individuals or those with weakened immune systems have a lower immune response capacity. Even after vaccination, the antibody levels they produce may be lower, resulting in a relatively shorter duration of protection; therefore, they do not acquire lifelong immunity.

The novel coronavirus vaccine can prevent infection to some extent, but it cannot completely prevent infection. Even after vaccination, it is still necessary to implement other preventive measures, such as wearing masks and maintaining social distancing when going out, to reduce the risk of infection. The virus has the potential to mutate, and such mutations may also affect the vaccine's protective effectiveness. Therefore, even after vaccination, lifelong immunity cannot be guaranteed.

After vaccination, one should pay attention to enhancing daily protection. It is advisable to eat a light diet and avoid spicy or irritating foods.
