Introduction
The jackfruit seeds need to be processed and cooked after removing the hard shell. Common methods include boiling in plain water, cooking in salted water, preparing in porridge, stewing in soup, or stir-frying with seasonings. To prepare, first wash the jackfruit seeds thoroughly, then cook them in boiling water for 15 to 20 minutes until they are soft enough to be easily pierced with a pair of chopsticks. Remove them from the water, peel off the shells, and then they are ready to eat. The texture is starchy and smooth, with a mild fruity aroma.

The seeds of jackfruit need to be processed and cooked after removing the hard shell. Common methods include boiling in plain water, boiling in salted water, cooking with porridge, stewing in soup, and stir-frying with seasonings. Detailed methods are as follows:

     1. Boiling in plain water: Wash the jackfruit seeds thoroughly, then boil them in boiling water for 15 to 20 minutes until they can be easily pierced with chopsticks. Remove them, peel the shells, and they are ready to eat. The texture is soft and powdery with a subtle fruity aroma.

     2. Boiling in salted water: Bring water to a boil in a pot, add the washed jackfruit seeds, and mix with an appropriate amount of table salt. Boil for about 20 minutes, then turn off the heat and soak the seeds for 10 minutes before removing. This method enhances the flavor, making the seeds more savory and chewy.

     3. Cooking with porridge: Cook the jackfruit seeds beforehand and remove the shells. When the rice porridge becomes thick, add the seeds and continue cooking for 5 to 10 minutes while stirring, allowing their aroma to infuse into the porridge for a richer texture.

     4. Stewing in soup: Place cleaned jackfruit seeds together with ingredients such as pork ribs or chicken into a soup pot. Add water and ginger slices, then stew for about one hour. The seeds will absorb the broth and become flavorful and delicious.

     5. Stir-frying with seasonings: Cut the cooked and peeled jackfruit seeds into small pieces. Heat a small amount of oil in a pan, sauté minced garlic and scallions until fragrant, then add the seed pieces and stir-fry. Season with light soy sauce and salt for a crispy and aromatic texture.

Before consumption, ensure that the jackfruit seeds are fresh and free from mold. They must be thoroughly cooked to avoid gastrointestinal discomfort caused by eating them raw. Jackfruit seeds are high in calories and should not be consumed in excess. Individuals with weak digestion should moderate their intake. If symptoms such as bloating or abdominal pain occur after consumption, stop eating them immediately.
