Introduction
Women with a cold body constitution can generally improve their condition through warming diet, moderate exercise, keeping warm in daily life, TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) regulation, and emotional balance. Consuming more warming foods such as lamb, longan, and red dates helps to replenish the body's yang energy. It is advisable to reduce intake of raw, cold, or cooling foods. Cooking methods should primarily include steaming, boiling, and stewing, avoiding raw or cold dishes. This kind of dietary adjustment nourishes the spleen and stomach yang, thereby improving a cold body constitution.

For women with a cold body constitution,调理 (regulation) can generally be achieved through warm-natured diets, moderate exercise, proper daily routines with warmth preservation, TCM-based treatments, and emotional regulation. Specific methods are as follows:

1. Warm-natured diet: Increase intake of warming foods such as lamb, longan, and red dates to replenish the body's yang energy. Reduce consumption of raw, cold, or cooling foods. Prefer cooking methods such as steaming, boiling, and stewing, and avoid raw or chilled dishes. This helps nourish the spleen and stomach yang qi and improve a cold body constitution.

2. Moderate exercise: Choose gentle exercises such as brisk walking, yoga, or tai chi to promote blood and qi circulation. Physical activity helps stimulate the body’s yang energy and alleviate symptoms like cold intolerance and cold limbs. Avoid intense exercise that may deplete yang energy. Consistent, regular exercise strengthens overall constitution and improves cold-related conditions.

3. Daily routine and warmth preservation: Pay attention to keeping the abdomen, waist, and feet warm; avoid clothing such as cropped tops or short skirts that expose these areas. Prevent chilling during sleep, minimize air conditioning in summer, and soak feet in warm water before bedtime to enhance peripheral blood circulation and reduce invasion of external cold into the body.

4. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) therapy: Use moxibustion on acupoints such as Zusanli (ST36), Guanyuan (CV4), and Qihai (CV6) to supplement yang energy through thermal stimulation. Under professional guidance, take warming herbal medicines such as dried ginger or angelica (Danggui), or receive therapeutic treatments aimed at warming meridians and unblocking collaterals for targeted regulation of a cold constitution.

5. Emotional regulation: Maintain a positive and relaxed mood, avoiding prolonged anxiety or depression. Negative emotions can disrupt the flow of qi and blood, worsening a cold constitution. Practices such as listening to soothing music or meditation can help regulate emotions, support smooth circulation of qi and blood, and assist in improving body constitution.

Improvement requires long-term persistence—avoid seeking quick results. Choose suitable methods according to individual conditions, and avoid blind tonification or excessive exercise. If symptoms of cold constitution are severe and accompanied by menstrual irregularities or dysmenorrhea, it is recommended to consult a licensed TCM practitioner.
