What causes night sweats?
Night sweats may be caused by hot and stuffy environments, anxiety, hyperthyroidism, menopausal syndrome, tuberculosis, and other conditions. 4. Menopausal Syndrome: Declining ovarian function in women leads to hormonal fluctuations and autonomic nervous system dysfunction, triggering night sweats, hot flashes, and insomnia. It is recommended to use medications such as nilestriol tablets, oryzanol tablets, and Kuntai capsules under medical supervision to improve symptoms.
5. Tuberculosis: Infection with Mycobacterium tuberculosis induces inflammatory responses in the body, leading to night sweats, often accompanied by low-grade fever, cough, and fatigue. It is recommended to use anti-tuberculosis drugs such as isoniazid tablets, rifampicin capsules, and pyrazinamide tablets under a doctor’s direction to manage symptoms.
For daily care, ensure good bedroom ventilation, wear breathable clothing, avoid alcohol and coffee before bedtime, change clothes regularly, and maintain clean skin to help reduce night sweats.
